Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the largest cloud provider, offering a comprehensive AI/ML platform: Amazon Bedrock (foundation models and agents), Amazon SageMaker (ML training and deployment), Amazon Q and its own Trainium/Inferentia chips.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is Amazon's cloud division and the world's largest cloud provider. In artificial intelligence, AWS offers a comprehensive platform covering the full lifecycle of building and deploying AI - from infrastructure, through foundation models, to finished applications and agents.
Its key AI services are: Amazon Bedrock - a platform for building generative-AI applications and agents with access to models from many providers (Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, Amazon Nova, Mistral, Cohere, AI21, Stability); Amazon SageMaker - a fully managed service for training, customizing and deploying ML models; Amazon Q - an AI assistant for work and developers; and Bedrock AgentCore for running AI agents at scale. AWS also provides responsible-AI mechanisms such as Bedrock Guardrails.
AWS designs its own AI accelerators - Trainium (training) and Inferentia (inference) - alongside NVIDIA GPUs, and operates globally across many regions with enterprise-grade security and compliance (including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR). Development is done via the AWS SDK (Boto3 and others), the CLI, the SageMaker SDK and REST APIs.
