Google AI Studio
Google's web-based IDE for prototyping applications with the Gemini, Imagen, Veo and Gemma generative AI models, paired with the Gemini API.

Description
Google AI Studio is a web-based integrated development environment (IDE) developed by Google for prototyping applications using generative AI models. It launched on December 13, 2023, alongside the public release of the Gemini API and replaced Google MakerSuite.
The platform provides access to the Gemini model family, Imagen models for image generation, Veo for video generation, LearnLM, and the open Gemma model family. It supports multimodal inputs (text, image, video, audio, documents) and offers system instructions, prompt chat, structured output, function calling, code execution in a sandboxed Python environment, grounding with Google Search, URL context and live streaming.
Access is free under a rate-limited tier; enabling Google Cloud Billing switches the project to a paid mode in which user data is not used for model training. The service requires users to be at least 18 years old and is available in selected regions.
