Google Cloud is Google's cloud platform with a comprehensive AI/ML offering: Vertex AI, Gemini models and the Gemini API, Model Garden (Google and third-party models), Agent Builder and its own TPU accelerators.

Google Cloud (Google Cloud Platform, GCP) is Google's (Alphabet's) cloud platform, offering a comprehensive set of services to build, train and deploy AI solutions - from infrastructure, through foundation models, to finished applications and agents.
Its central AI service is Vertex AI - a unified platform covering the full lifecycle of ML and generative-AI models (training, tuning, deployment, evaluation). Google Cloud provides the flagship Gemini models and the Gemini API, and via Model Garden also third-party models (including Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, Mistral). It additionally offers Agent Builder / Agentspace for building agents, Vertex AI Search (search and RAG) and BigQuery ML (machine learning inside the data warehouse).
Its AI infrastructure is built on Google's own accelerators - TPUs (including Trillium and Ironwood) - alongside NVIDIA GPUs. The platform operates globally across many regions, with enterprise-grade security and compliance (including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR). Development is done via the Google Cloud SDK/CLI (gcloud), client libraries and REST/gRPC APIs.
