Claude is a conversational AI assistant developed by Anthropic. The product is available in the browser at claude.ai and as native apps on iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. Under the hood it runs on the Claude model family (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus) and since 2024 supports agentic modes — executing tasks in a code panel, calling external tools, and remembering context within Projects.

Claude is known for its long context window (up to 200K tokens in recent models), ability to analyze attached files (PDFs, images, Office documents), and the Computer Use mode that lets the model drive a screen and browser. Anthropic publicly states it uses Constitutional AI for alignment.

Plans include Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free offers a limited daily quota on the latest models; paid plans unlock higher limits, Projects, Skills, connectors (MCP), and longer conversations.
