"Claude Slides" is a colloquial name for Claude's (Anthropic) ability to create presentations — there is no separate, branded product by that name (claude.com/slides redirects to the app, with no public product page). Slide generation is delivered through three official paths: the file-creation feature in Claude.ai (generates .pptx decks), Claude Design (exports designs to PowerPoint, PDF or HTML), and the Claude for PowerPoint add-in from the Claude for Microsoft 365 suite.
File creation entered preview on September 9, 2025 and reached general availability on October 21, 2025 for paid plans. The Claude for PowerPoint add-in (see separate entry) builds decks from existing corporate templates, makes pinpoint edits to individual slides without regenerating the whole deck, and converts bullets into native, editable PowerPoint charts.
