Design Arena

Design Arena is a crowdsourced benchmark that evaluates how well AI models generate designs — websites, apps, games, graphics, 3D assets, SVG, slides, video and speech. The platform is free and runs as a web app.

In a session the user enters a prompt and picks a category; the system randomly samples four models from the active pool and runs them in parallel on the same task. Outputs are shown anonymously in pairs across a series of five battles (a tournament format), producing a complete 1st-to-4th ranking.

Rankings are computed with the Bradley-Terry model from votes in blind head-to-head comparisons, alongside win rates. Model identities stay hidden to remove brand bias. Design Arena maintains many specialized leaderboards, including websites, games, 3D, image, video and audio.

The platform is built and operated by the company Intelligence. According to the company, Design Arena is used by over 6 million people across 190+ countries, making it one of the most widely cited benchmarks for AI-generated design.
