HyperWrite is a consumer product - no enterprise security tier in the public offering. Authentication: standard email/password login or Google/Facebook OAuth. User data (documents, custom personas, chat history) is stored in OthersideAI's cloud (AWS per public blog posts). OthersideAI's Privacy Policy defines that data is not used to train company models - content is passed to LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) only for inference. Regulatorily: GDPR compliance for EU users (Data Protection Officer undisclosed), CCPA for California.

Backend LLM: HyperWrite uses a combination of models from OpenAI (GPT-4/5 for generation) and Anthropic (Claude Sonnet for longer contexts, e.g. Personas). Sonantic-style voice models are not used (HyperWrite is text-only). Chrome Extension requires permission: 'read your data on all websites' - required for TypeAhead on any page. Users can disable autocomplete per-domain (whitelist/blacklist in settings). HyperChat conversation history retention is unlimited by default, users can delete conversations in settings. No on-device inference - everything runs in the cloud, requires an active internet connection.
