01·What is artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning

Introduction

You use systems every day that someone calls "AI" — Google Photos recognizes your friends, Spotify suggests songs, ChatGPT answers questions, Gmail filters spam. All of these are marketed as "artificial intelligence", but the field actually splits into three concepts: AI, machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL). This lesson arranges them into a hierarchy: AI is the broadest term, ML is a part of AI, and DL is a part of ML. Without this mental map, every later concept in the course will float in a vacuum.
