ATI Delta is one of the most popular industrial 6-axis force/torque sensors, used for over two decades in humanoid robotics research (including Boston Dynamics PETMAN, DLR Justin, Sarcos Guardian XO). The standard SI-330-30 model offers 1980 N capacity on the Z axis, 660 N on X/Y, and 30 Nm on Mx/My and 30 Nm on Mz - with 1/16 N and 1/640 Nm resolution respectively.
The sensor is IP60 sealed, machined from aerospace aluminum with optional stainless steel for medical applications. Communication configurations include NetBox with EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, and analog DAQ via the F/T Controller. ATI publishes a complete ISO 9001 documentation package and compliance certificates for functional-safety applications.

Which group ATI Delta F/T Sensor belongs to and how it is built
A Force Torque Sensor measures linear forces and rotational torques at a single measurement point. In robotics, it is particularly important in manipulators, robot wrists, grippers, and human–robot collaboration systems. It enables force control, contact detection, load monitoring, and improved safety and manipulation precision. Sensors of this type are widely used in assembly, laboratory, and research applications.
