  Yann LeCun

  Co-founder and Executive Chairman (December 2025)

  French computer scientist (b. 1960), Turing Award laureate 2018 (with Geoffrey Hinton and Yoshua Bengio) for foundational work on deep learning and convolutional networks. NYU professor. Chief AI Scientist at Meta 2013-2025. Left Meta in November 2025 arguing that LLMs are a dead end and AI needs world models. Creator of JEPA (Joint-Embedding Predictive Architecture) and V-JEPA architectures - the foundation of AMI Labs. Also known as the 'father of convolutional networks' (LeNet, 1998).

  Alexandre LeBrun

  Co-founder and CEO

  French AI entrepreneur, previously founder and CEO of Wit.ai (acquired by Facebook in 2015 for ~USD 50M). After the Facebook acquisition became Director of Engineering at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) until 2018. Then founded Nabla (2018) - French AI-for-doctors startup (automatic medical documentation). Concurrent CEO of AMI Labs and Nabla (Nabla is AMI's first official partner).

  French corporate executive. Former Vice President Meta responsible for Europe, Middle East, Africa (2013-2025), where he managed Meta France operations from 2011. Previously cabinet manager for Nicolas Sarkozy (2007-2011). ENA (École Nationale d'Administration) graduate. Joined AMI Labs in December 2025 with LeCun.

  Chinese-American ML researcher. Assistant Professor at NYU Courant Institute (joined 2023). Previously Research Scientist at Meta FAIR. Known for computer vision and self-supervised learning work - co-author of ConvNeXt, DiT (Diffusion Transformer). Joined AMI Labs in December 2025 with LeCun.

  Chief Research and Innovation Officer

  Chinese-Hong Kong AI scientist. Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Renowned expert in multilingual NLP, empathetic AI, and AI ethics. Fellow of IEEE, ACL, and ISCA. Member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council of AI. Joined AMI Labs as Chief Research and Innovation Officer in 2026.

  Canadian ML researcher. Ex-Research Scientist at Meta FAIR (2015-2025), where he led JEPA and V-JEPA work with LeCun. Previously associate professor at McGill University. Key figure in continuing the JEPA research agenda at AMI Labs.

  Chinese-Singaporean ML researcher. Known for work on deep learning architectures (Network in Network, 2013) and recurrent networks. Joined AMI Labs as a founding scientist.
