The ARM Institute (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Institute) is a US Pittsburgh-based nonprofit founded in January 2017 as a Manufacturing Innovation Institute within the national Manufacturing USA network. It is funded by the US government (Office of the Secretary of War, Agreement W911NF-17-3-0004). Its mission is to strengthen and grow US manufacturing by catalyzing solutions that drive the adoption of robotics and physical AI — through collaborative projects, workforce development and technology integration across a national consortium of automation experts.
