ASML Holding N.V. is a Dutch company headquartered in Veldhoven and the world's largest supplier of photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Founded in 1984 as a joint venture between Philips and ASM International, it became an independent company in 1988. ASML is the sole manufacturer of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines, which are essential for producing the most advanced integrated circuits. Its portfolio spans EUV and DUV systems, immersion lithography, metrology and inspection systems, and computational lithography software. The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and Nasdaq.
