Bpifrance (Banque publique d'investissement) is a French public investment bank established in 2012 to support French businesses at every stage of their development. It was created by consolidating OSEO, the Fonds Stratégique d'Investissement (FSI) and CDC Entreprises. The bank provides loans, guarantees, innovation financing, equity investment, and export and internationalisation support. Bpifrance is owned equally by Caisse des dépôts et consignations and the state entity EPIC Bpifrance. Its headquarters are in Maisons-Alfort near Paris, and it is led by Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Dufourcq.
