Cerebras Systems Inc. is an American company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, designing semiconductors, supercomputers and software for deep-learning applications. Founded in 2015 by Andrew Feldman, Gary Lauterbach, Michael James, Sean Lie and Jean-Philippe Fricker (a team that previously worked together at SeaMicro). Cerebras has developed the Wafer Scale Engine (WSE-1, WSE-2, WSE-3) chips, manufactured using wafer-scale integration on full silicon wafers, and the CS-1, CS-2 and CS-3 systems. The company also offers a cloud inference service and is building the Condor Galaxy network of AI supercomputers in partnership with G42. Its chips are manufactured by TSMC. Cerebras went public on Nasdaq in 2026 under the ticker CBRS.
