Clinical Chemistry is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine, published since 1955 (initially bimonthly, monthly from 1964). It publishes original research, clinical case studies and commentaries covering laboratory diagnostics, genomics, hematology, microbiology, toxicology and applications of artificial intelligence in the laboratory. It is the official journal of the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM), the organization formerly known as the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC), based in Washington, D.C. Since 2024 the journal has been published by Oxford University Press. ISSN 0009-9147 (print), 1530-8561 (online).
