Datadog, Inc. is an American technology company offering a cloud-based SaaS observability and monitoring platform for applications and infrastructure at cloud scale. Founded in 2010 in New York City by Olivier Pomel (CEO) and Alexis Lê-Quôc (CTO), the platform integrates infrastructure monitoring, APM, log management, network and database monitoring, Real User Monitoring, cloud security, and Cloud SIEM. It also offers AI-focused products: LLM Observability (monitoring of applications built on large language models) and Bits AI (an AI assistant and agents). Datadog went public on the Nasdaq exchange on September 19, 2019 under the ticker DDOG and is a component of the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 indices.
