DigiCert is a founding member of the CA/Browser Forum (since 2005) and participates in IETF and ETSI standards work. The company is privately held; majority owners are private equity firms Thoma Bravo (since 2015) and equal partners Clearlake Capital Group and TA Associates (since 2019).
