DoorDash is the US food-delivery market leader (about 56% share) and convenience delivery (about 60%). The company went public in December 2020 (NASDAQ: DASH), raising $3.37B; in 2024 it joined the Fortune 500. For 2025 it reported about $13.7B in revenue, $935M net income and roughly 31,400 employees. DoorDash makes heavy use of machine learning (logistics, ETA prediction, courier matching, recommendations) and develops autonomous delivery: it acquired Scotty Labs (vehicle tele-operation, 2019) and Chowbotics (a salad-making robot, 2021), and through DoorDash Labs works on delivery robots and drones. The company operates in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia and - through the acquired Wolt (2022) and Deliveroo (2025) - across Europe, Asia and other regions.
