Eka Robotics (EKA Robotics, Inc.) is a U.S. robotics startup headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The company is developing a Vision-Force-Action (VFA) foundation model — a unified approach where a robot perceives the world through both vision and force, and generates control actions. Eka frames its work as building “intelligence for the physical world in its native language: force.” According to its own statement, the team is composed of researchers from MIT, Berkeley, Harvard, CMU, BU, UPenn, and engineers from DeepMind, Microsoft, and Boston Dynamics, with specializations in self-supervised learning, large-scale robot learning, world models, reinforcement learning, and sim-to-real robotics.
