ElevenLabs (ElevenLabs Inc.) is an audio artificial-intelligence company founded in 2022 by Poles Mateusz 'Mati' Staniszewski (CEO) and Piotr Dabkowski (CTO). It specializes in generative audio - above all realistic text-to-speech based on deep learning, as well as voice cloning, dubbing and AI voice agents. The company became known for its browser-based speech-synthesis tool producing natural-sounding voice in many languages; its technology is used in content production, media, games and accessibility. ElevenLabs offers web products and a developer API (a freemium/SaaS model with usage-based billing). The company is headquartered in New York City, with offices also in London and Warsaw. ElevenLabs quickly became one of the leaders in generative audio; in February 2026 it raised a $500M Series D round led by Sequoia Capital.
