Embotech

Embotech AG is a Swiss technology company founded in 2013 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich. It specializes in decision-making and optimization software and in certified Level 4 autonomous driving systems for industrial logistics. Its "Physical AI" platform combines prediction, motion planning and learning-based methods with a deterministic safety layer certified by TÜV SÜD. Its main solutions are Automated Vehicle Marshalling (AVM) for automotive factories and vehicle logistics centers, the Autonomous Tractor Solution (ATS) for ports and terminals, and the FORCESPRO optimization solver. The company is headquartered in Zurich, with offices in Dübendorf, Munich, Novi Sad, Rotterdam, Oxford and Wrocław, among others, and employs around 140 people. Partners and customers include BMW Group and Volkswagen; with the BMW Group it reached a production milestone of one million vehicles moved autonomously.
