EngineAI (Chinese: 众擎机器人; full name Shenzhen EngineAI Robotics Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese robotics company founded in October 2023 and headquartered in Shenzhen (Guangdong province). It was founded and is led by Zhao Tongyang. EngineAI designs and manufactures humanoid and quadrupedal robots together with its own AI software and control systems. Its products include: SE01 — a full-size general-purpose humanoid (~170 cm, 55 kg) marketed as one of the first with a natural, human-like gait at up to ~2 m/s; PM01 — a compact humanoid (~138 cm) that in 2025 performed the first humanoid front flip; T800 — an industrial humanoid with high joint torque (up to ~450 Nm) used in the URKL humanoid combat league; SA01 — an open-source bipedal educational robot; as well as JS01 (a quadruped) and S2 (a service robot). In April 2026 EngineAI closed a Series B of about $200M (valuation ~$1.5B) and filed for a Hong Kong IPO, and in July 2026 it debuted URKL — a full-size humanoid combat league.
