Güdel

Güdel Group AG is a Swiss industrial company headquartered in Langenthal (canton of Bern) that has been operating in production automation since 1954. The group specializes in three pillars: high-precision mechanical components (gearboxes, linear guideways, rack and pinion), modular gantry systems and linear travel tracks for industrial robots, and end-to-end process automation solutions — from press automation in automotive to composite manufacturing in aerospace.

Güdel's products extend the reach of standard 6-axis robots (TrackMotion Floor/Overhead/Vertical) or replace them entirely with Cartesian gantry manipulators (EP/ZP/FP/CP). The company also sells its gearboxes and guideways to OEM manufacturers, acting simultaneously as a component supplier and an end-to-end systems integrator.

The group employs around 1,000 people across more than 20 locations worldwide, with subsidiaries in Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Czechia, Spain, Mexico, France, Italy, South Korea, the Netherlands, India, Poland and China. The company remains private and is not publicly listed.
