Heron Power

Heron Power is an American power-electronics startup founded in 2025 by Drew Baglino, a former Tesla senior vice president, and based in Scotts Valley, California. The company designs solid-state transformers (SSTs) for the power grid, renewable farms and AI data centers. Its flagship Heron Link product converts medium-voltage power directly into the 800 V DC required by NVIDIA reference server racks. Heron Power raised a US$140M Series B round (led by Andreessen Horowitz and Breakthrough Energy) to build a 40 GW SST factory in the U.S.
