HIGEN RNM Co., Ltd. (Korean 하이젠알앤엠; RNM stands for “Robot N Mobility”) is a South Korean motion-control company headquartered in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province. It designs and manufactures low- and high-voltage induction motors, servo motors and servo drives, mobility motors and inverters (for electric vehicles, golf carts, buses and railway), and robotic actuator modules. Its motor business traces back to LG Electronics’ motor division founded in 1963; the firm became an independent company around 2007–2008 (as HIGEN Motor) and was later renamed HIGEN RNM. In June 2024 it listed on the Korea Exchange under code 160190. In 2026 it introduced the Human-Friendly Actuator Platform (HFA) — a family of six standardized joint actuators (approx. 60–348 Nm) built around axial-flux permanent-magnet (AFPM) motors, 3K compound planetary gearboxes and joint-level embedded control, aimed at collaborative, logistics and humanoid robots.
