Student RoboCup team from HTWK Leipzig, founded in 2009, playing soccer with humanoid NAO robots in the Standard Platform League.
HTWK Robots (formerly Nao-Team HTWK) is a student robotics team at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig, HTWK Leipzig) in Leipzig, Germany. Founded in 2009 as a student project within the Faculty of Computer Science and Media, the team competes in the RoboCup Standard Platform League, where all teams use identical humanoid NAO robots and compete purely on software. The team of about 15 students and alumni develops its own software stack for perception (vision), behavior and motion control. HTWK Robots are among the league's top teams: they won the RoboCup world title in 2018 (Montreal) and 2025 (Salvador), reached the world-championship podium many times, and took 2nd place at the first World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing in 2025.
