inDrive

Founded 2013 · Mountain View, United States

inDrive (formerly inDriver) is a mobility and delivery platform headquartered in Mountain View, California, operating in over 1,200 cities across 48 countries. The service originated in 2012 in Yakutsk, Russia, on the initiative of Arsen Tomsky and was officially launched in 2013. inDrive uses a peer-to-peer pricing model: a passenger proposes a fare and the driver can accept or counter-offer, with payments going directly to the driver. Beyond ride-hailing, the company offers intercity rides (City to City), delivery and courier services, financial services (inDrive Money) and advertising. Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine the company exited the Russian market and relocated part of its team to Kazakhstan and Cyprus. In October 2022 inDriver rebranded to inDrive and transformed into a group of companies. The app had been downloaded more than 400 million times as of March 2026.
