Lightberry (Lightberry Inc) is a San Francisco-based robotics startup built by a team of artists and engineers. The company develops software and robot systems that help robots talk, perceive people and their surroundings, learn through interaction and express personality. Its flagship product is Lumi — a 1.3 m social humanoid robot built on a Unitree G1 base and combined with Lightberry's own sensors, software and the Lightberry OS operating system. Lumi features Nvidia Jetson Thor compute (64 GiB), 1920×1200-per-eye cameras (30 FPS), a beamforming microphone array and 34 degrees of freedom, and is extensible via the Lightberry SDK. The Founder Edition is priced at $39,990, with shipping planned for 2026.
