LyricFind (LyricFind Inc.) is a Canadian technology company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, founded in 2004 by Darryl Ballantyne, Mohamed Moutadayne and Chris Book as a project by students at the University of Waterloo (with the licensing business launching in 2005). The company specialises in legal song-lyrics licensing and in supplying lyric data to digital platforms, acting as an intermediary between music publishers and digital services. LyricFind’s catalogue covers more than 12 million songs, including over 1.3 million word-by-word synced tracks (as of January 2025). Its solutions are used by more than 100 digital platforms, including Google, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and TikTok, and the company works with over 50,000 publishers worldwide. Its products include lyric licensing, LyricIQ, Videos by LyricFind and the LyricFind charts published by Billboard.
