MANUS (a brand of MANUS Technology Group; original entity Manus Machinae B.V.) is a Dutch company headquartered in Eindhoven, founded in July 2014 by Bob Vlemmix, Stephan van den Brink and Tim van Veenendaal, with Maarten Witteveen joining shortly after as CTO. The company started with VR gaming gloves and later moved into professional hand motion-capture. Its gloves track hand articulation with millimeter precision across 25 degrees of freedom. Products have included its first development kit (2016), the Prime series, Quantum Metagloves with EMF technology (2022), Metagloves Pro (2024) and Metagloves Pro Haptic (2025), plus the MANUS Core software. In 2021 the company opened offices in Germany and the US. MANUS solutions are used by robotics companies, AI research labs, XR developers and motion-capture studios to collect and process human-interaction data, including for robot teleoperation and training.
