Israeli-American physicist and engineer with a Princeton PhD. Inventor of the Floating Gate EEPROM, which proved the practicality and endurance of semiconductor-based non-volatile memory — the foundation of today's flash. Co-founded SunDisk in 1988 with Sanjay Mehrotra and Jack Yuan. In 2014 he received the National Medal of Technology and Innovation from President Barack Obama.
Indian-American engineer, UC Berkeley graduate (BS/MS Electrical Engineering). Co-founded SunDisk/SanDisk in 1988 and stayed until 2016 (after the Western Digital acquisition). In 2017 he became CEO of Micron Technology, SanDisk's competitor in the memory market.
The third co-founder of SunDisk in 1988, alongside Eli Harari and Sanjay Mehrotra. A less public figure than the other two.
American corporate executive, previously CEO of Western Digital (since 2020). After the announcement of the SanDisk spin-off from WD in 2023, he moved to Sandisk as CEO at the completion of the split on February 24, 2025. Previously a long-time Executive Vice President at Cisco (Networking and Security).
