Synapticon GmbH is a German company founded in 2012 (headquartered in Schoenaich, Baden-Wuerttemberg) that develops software and hardware for sophisticated motion control in robotics and mechanical engineering. The company positions itself as the only maker of servo drives developed on a Software-First principle. Its products include SOMANET servo drives (Node, Circulo, Integro, Core), integrated ACTILINK servo motors and actuators, the Motion Master motion-control software with the OBLAC Drives web tool, and the POSITRON safety platform. Synapticon employs about 85 people from 25 nations, with offices in Germany, Silicon Valley (USA), Shanghai (China) and Belgrade (Serbia). Its solutions are used in humanoid robots, robotic arms and cobots, mobile robots and industrial machinery.
