General-purpose open repository for research outputs (data, papers, software), operated by CERN under the European OpenAIRE programme.
Zenodo is a general-purpose open research repository launched in May 2013 on the initiative of the European Commission under the OpenAIRE project. It is operated and hosted by CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) in Geneva, running on CERN's computing infrastructure. Zenodo lets researchers from any discipline deposit datasets, papers, software, reports and other research outputs free of charge, assigning each deposit a persistent DOI for citability. The platform is built on the open-source InvenioRDM software, integrates with GitHub and offers open APIs. It is funded by CERN, OpenAIRE and the European Union.
