ERNIE (Chinese 文心, Wenxin; “Enhanced Representation through Knowledge Integration”) is a family of large language models developed by Baidu that powers the Ernie Bot assistant (yiyan.baidu.com). The family spans general-purpose models (including ERNIE 4.5 and its Turbo variant) and specialized reasoning models (ERNIE X1 and ERNIE X1 Turbo). The models are available through the Ernie Bot assistant and Baidu’s cloud platform (Qianfan / Baidu AI Cloud).
