About

GR00T (Generalist Robot 00 Technology) is NVIDIA’s family of open foundation models for humanoid robots, part of the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T platform. The models are cross-embodiment — they take multimodal input (vision and natural language) and output continuous control actions for manipulation tasks across diverse environments. They can be post-trained with real or synthetic data for a specific robot embodiment or task. Successive versions include GR00T N1 (2B, dual-system VLM + Diffusion Transformer) and GR00T N1.5 (3B, flow matching transformer with SigLip2 and T5 encoders).
