Mamba is a family of sequence models using Selective State Space Models (SSM) instead of the attention mechanism from the Transformer architecture. The first version (Mamba) was described in December 2023 (arXiv:2312.00752), Mamba-2 in May 2024 (arXiv:2405.21060) and Mamba-3 in 2026. Released under the Apache-2.0 license.
