Phonon is a family of open automatic speech recognition (ASR) models developed by Fermion Research. Models in the family (including Phonon-1 and Phonon-2) are heavily compressed using low-bit quantization to retain high transcription accuracy at a very small file size and run locally on Apple silicon, CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs.
