ECI 1118 is an inductive absolute rotary encoder without integral bearing by HEIDENHAIN. Inductive technology provides resistance to magnetic and oil contamination. EnDat 2.2 or 1 Vpp interface, up to 20-bit resolution. Bearingless design allows direct mounting on the drive shaft. Used in CNC machine tool drives and industrial robot joints.
