iRobot Create 3
iRobot Create 3 is the third generation iRobot educational robotic platform, built on Roomba i Series hardware. The first truly native ROS 2 robot (Galactic/Humble) — runs DDS directly onboard without a middleware bridge.
Includes 22 sensors: optical-flow camera, cliff-detectors ×4, bump sensors ×7, IR proximity ×6, IMU, encoders and docking sensors. Diameter 339 mm, top speed 0.306 m/s, payload 9 kg on the top plate with M3 grid mounting.
