EC 60 flat
The Maxon EC 60 flat is a brushless DC motor in a pancake (flat) form factor with a 60 mm diameter. Its very small axial length makes it ideal for robotic joints and space-constrained applications. Continuous power output reaches 100 W.
Used in humanoid robots (e.g., Atlas, ASIMO), prosthetic limbs, laparoscopic manipulators, and other applications requiring compact, high-power drives. Ironless winding provides high efficiency and linear torque characteristics.
