NVIDIA MGX
NVIDIA MGX is a modular server and rack reference architecture developed by NVIDIA for AI data centers. It provides server makers (OEMs/ODMs) with a standardized mechanical, electrical and cooling skeleton that lets them quickly build systems with various GPU, CPU and accelerator configurations.
MGX reduces the cost and time of designing AI infrastructure, supports high power densities and modern power standards (including 800 V DC architectures) and liquid cooling, becoming one of the foundations for scaling data centers for training and inference workloads.
The MGX architecture is tightly linked to NVIDIA's GPU ecosystem and reference rack designs for hyperscalers.
