RESOLUTE is a family of open optical absolute encoders by Renishaw (UK) with resolution down to 1 nm and speeds up to 100 m/s (rotary 36,000 rpm). Reads scale tape or disk, contamination-resistant. Available interfaces: BiSS-C, FANUC, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Siemens. Used in CNC machine tools and direct-drive systems.
