AGIBOT A3 is a humanoid robot from the Chinese company AGIBOT (Zhiyuan Robotics, 智元机器人), designed for stage performance, entertainment and audience interaction. It stands 173 cm tall and weighs 55 kg thanks to a lightweight body of magnesium and titanium alloys with flexible TPU elements.
The robot has 31 degrees of freedom, including five-fingered hands with 12 DOF, and joints driven by in-house quasi-direct-drive PMSM motors with 12 kW peak power and 150 A peak current (knee torque up to 320 N·m). This enables dynamic motion, acrobatics (somersaults) and "aerial walking".
Power comes from two hot-swappable battery packs totaling 1152 Wh, providing up to 10 hours of runtime with a roughly 10-second swap. Compute is handled by two Rockchip RK3588 modules (in the head and torso) running Link-U-OS, while interaction is supported by an 8-microphone array for 360° audio pickup, shoulder touch sensors and LLM-based voice control (LinkSoul platform).
The A3 supports UWB positioning (accuracy <±10 cm), 5G (dual-module, dual-SIM), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and fleet coordination of 100+ units. AGIBOT provides open interfaces and the LinkCraft motion-creation platform for secondary development. The base price is around $45,000. Note: a separate A3 Ultra variant exists (174 cm, 60 kg, 51 DOF, NVIDIA Thor) aimed at commercial and service applications.
