FF All-New Futurist is the second-generation full-size embodied-AI (EAI) humanoid robot from Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (NASDAQ: FFAI), unveiled at the company's “919” EAI Robot World 2.0 event in Los Angeles on September 19, 2026.
It stands roughly 174 cm tall and weighs 54 kg (Standard) or 58 kg (Ultra). It uses a new lightweight “T-structure” with a skeleton-as-skin integrated design, and offers 31 DOF (Standard) or 51 DOF (Ultra, upgradable to 71 DOF with advanced dexterous hands), 320 N·m peak joint torque, and a 1152 Wh hot-swappable dual battery with self-charging for over 5–6 h of runtime.
It runs a VLA (Vision-Language-Action) + World Model AI “brain” on Ubuntu 22.04 with an open SDK/API and OTA updates. It is the first full-size humanoid in the U.S. to natively support NVIDIA SONIC full-body motion control. The Ultra version adds LiDAR, RGB-D and 360° cameras, an 8-channel microphone array and an NVIDIA Jetson Thor-U compute module (700 TOPS); control is complemented by a handheld controller and beyond-visual-range VR teleoperation.
The robot targets reception, education, research, security and inspection, and commercial and entertainment use. Priced from $89,900.
