FF Futurist

Announced

FF Futurist is a full-size professional humanoid robot from Faraday Future Intelligent Electric's FF EAI Robotics ecosystem. It targets reception and hospitality, commercial and public services, manufacturing, healthcare, and university research and teaching.

The robot stands 169 cm tall and weighs 69 kg, offers 40 total degrees of freedom (2 DOF neck, 7 DOF per arm, 6 DOF per leg) and 28 motors with 500 N·m peak torque and 125 N·m/kg torque density; maximum movement speed is 1.2 m/s.

Perception is provided by a 3D LiDAR, two RGB-D cameras, a fisheye camera and tactile sensing in the dexterous hand. Compute runs on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin module rated at 200 TOPS, upgradable. It is the first full-size humanoid in the U.S. to natively support the NVIDIA SONIC full-body motion control system; VR teleoperation is also available.

Power comes from a hot-swappable battery that can be replaced without interrupting operation, enabling about 3 hours of continuous standing time. The robot supports interaction in over 50 languages and features an interactive facial display. Connectivity: Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G. Priced from $34,990 (starting price; skill package additional).
