LimX Oli is a full-size general-purpose humanoid from Chinese company LimX Dynamics (Shenzhen). Unveiled on 30 July 2025, opened for preorder at a starting price of CNY 158,000 (about USD 22,000). Public debut at the World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing on 8 August 2025. Designed for AI researchers, robotics developers, and systems integrators (the target audience of LimX Dynamics' IDS strategy).

Body design: 165 cm tall, 31 active body degrees of freedom (excluding end-effectors), broken down as — single arm 7 DoF, single leg 6 DoF, waist 3 DoF, neck 2 DoF (total 2 * 7 + 2 * 6 + 3 + 2 = 31). The human-like proportions enable realistic adaptation to real-life and production tasks. The entire hardware platform and whole-body algorithms are developed in-house by LimX Dynamics.

Modular hardware and SDK architecture — the hardware supports flexible disassembly and component swap, compatible with two-finger grippers and five-finger dexterous hands, as well as various external devices: microphones, cameras, tactile sensors, IMUs, LiDAR. The SDK is fully open — providing access to body state, sensor data, low-level joint control, and high-level task orchestration. Ideal for teleoperation, data collection for imitation learning, and research on reinforcement learning.

Software layer: the platform supports hybrid cloud-local operation (cloud API + local control), with motion-library and controller updates delivered over the air (OTA). Compatible with local deployment of large language models — enabling natural voice interaction and multi-stream data fusion. The higher-level "humanoid brain" LimX COSA (Agentic OS, version 0.5 from July 2026) orchestrates task planning, VLA model invocation, and RL-based whole-body motion control. VLA models are trained with the in-house FluxVLA Engine framework.

Variants: Lite (basic), EDU (educational), Super (full). Starting price CNY 158,000. For the first 50 buyers of the EDU variant, LimX Dynamics offered a bipedal TRON 1 EDU robot as a bundled bonus (original 2025 promotion). The robot is a cornerstone of the LimX Dynamics IDS strategy — supporting three target groups: Innovators, Developers, and Systems Integrators, accelerating the path from research validation to production deployment and scaling.
