LimX TRON 2 is a full-size multi-form humanoid from LimX Dynamics — a continuation and human-scale scale-up of the TRON platform. Height approximately 165 cm, weight approximately 55 kg, 31 active degrees of freedom distributed symmetrically: 2 × 7-DoF arms, 2 × 6-DoF legs, 3-DoF waist, 2-DoF head. Positioned as a bridge between research, development, and real-world deployment — the human-scale form factor lets it work with standard work surfaces without environmental modifications.
The key innovation linking the TRON line: multi-form (multi-modal) locomotion. TRON 2 supports three locomotion modes — bipedal walking, stair climbing, and wheeled-leg all-terrain — with a modular, fast-swap architecture allowing the platform to be reconfigured between modes. Two-arm payload: 10 kg dual-arm payload with precise manipulation. Teleoperation latency: 100 ms. Support for interchangeable end-effectors — humanoid hands, grippers, tool interfaces.
Perception: dual Intel RealSense D435i depth cameras (head and torso) plus a self-developed IMU for motion stabilisation. Support for expansion: LiDAR, RGB cameras, external modules. A multi-sensor fusion framework processes data from all sources simultaneously. Safety: active collision boundaries, dual redundant power system for continuous operation in case of a single failure.
Software ecosystem: Python-based development environment, a modular SDK with low-level motor APIs. Full ROS 1 and ROS 2 support advertised in marketing materials. Simulation: NVIDIA Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo. A zero-gap URDF model ensures seamless Sim2Real transfer from simulation to the physical robot. Preloaded algorithm tutorials accelerate team onboarding. The high-level humanoid brain — LimX COSA (Agentic OS v0.5, July 2026) — orchestrates task planning and VLA-model invocation.
Target group: universities, research labs, robotics startups, and corporations working on embodied AI and humanoid robotics. Configurations: dual-arm, bipedal, wheeled — the modular, fast-swap architecture lets components be exchanged quickly and downtime minimised. Available via international distributors (dronevex.in in India, MZX Robotics, Looking Glass XR, and others). Positioned in the LimX Dynamics product line alongside LimX Oli, LimX Luna, and TRON 1 — aligned with the IDS strategy ("Innovators, Developers, System Integrators").
