Mori is a screen-free home companion robot developed by the Singapore-based company OKA (One Kind Artifact). Rather than resembling a conventional robot, it takes the form of a small object that acts as an ambient lamp and a “nature companion,” bringing elements of nature into the home through soft light, sound and gentle movement.
The device responds to the presence and state of the people around it, recognizes and remembers individuals, and adapts to the user over time. Placing both hands on its base starts a guided breathing session, and patting it makes it retract its cap and turn into a lamp. Mori does not use speech — it communicates through sound, movement, light and expression. All processing happens locally on the device, with no data sent to the cloud.
Mori stands 26.4–29.8 cm tall with a maximum diameter of 20.91 cm and weighs 1.5–2.0 kg. It has a 37.7 Wh battery (up to 80% charge in about 2.5 h) and Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz) plus Bluetooth connectivity. During its First Access stage it costs USD 649 (reference price USD 849), with deliveries announced for late December 2026.
