NEURA Robotics 4NE1 is a cognitive humanoid robot developed by German company NEURA Robotics, headquartered in Metzingen. The name stands for 'For Anyone', emphasising its universal purpose: industry, logistics, services, and eventually private homes.
The robot features exchangeable forearms, sensor skin (NEURA OmniSensor) detecting proximity before physical contact, and a 360-degree perception system combining cameras, microphones, and advanced sensors. Motion is governed by a language model, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
4NE1 is available as standard biped, wheeled version for industrial floors, and 7th-axis version for extended arm reach. NEURA is also developing the compact 4NE1 Mini for research, education, and entertainment.
