Reflex

Reflex is a mobile humanoid robot developed by the U.S. startup Reflex Robotics in New York. The robot is mounted on a wheeled base (instead of legs), which simplifies the design and lowers cost while keeping a humanoid torso with arms for manipulation.

In its initial phase the robot operates via teleoperation — remote control by a human operator — and the collected demonstration data is used to gradually increase autonomy. Reflex is being trialed in logistics and service applications, including with logistics operators.

Reflex Robotics' approach — an affordable mobile humanoid plus teleoperation with increasing autonomy — fits the broader trend of rapidly deploying humanoids into real work.
